Easter is the season in which we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. At St. Paul’s, we begin with a Sunrise Service in which participants experience finding the empty tomb much like Mary did on that first Easter. At 9:30 an Easter Egg Hunt is held on the grounds after which there is a short program to help our children understand the miracle of the Easter Story. At 10:55, our Easter Worship Celebration begins with a service of Christian Baptism in the Fellowship Hall and then continues in our Sanctuary with special music and a glorious celebration of the miracle of resurrection. A tradition at St. Paul’s is the resurrection cross that is decorated by participants bring flowers from their homes and gardens to turn the once dead and ugly cross into a vibrate reminder of the power of new life given by Jesus Christ.
