On Sunday during Children's Church, some
our our youth learned about the use of the
internet in the life of our church.
We discussed why we have a web site for our
church and who might find the information
useful. From that base, we created a list
of what our web site should contain.
Next, we went online from the church office
and checked the church's site for the things
which we had discussed.

Our group lines up to take turns checking
parts of the St Paul's web site. Here, Elizabeth
verifies that we have a map so that visitors
may find us. |
Being able to contact the minister was high
on the list of important things. We learned
that we can send our ministers' notes by
clicking on the minister's name.
Kelly signs her name to a note. |
Recommendations from the youth:
- Add more information about our ministers.
- Add BYF - Beginning Youth Fellowship - to
list of organizations.

Comments:
What a pleasure it was to work with
these
young people. All of them participated
in
our short "class room" session
before moving into the office for hands
on.
Their ideas for how we should use the
web
were right on target and will result
in future
changes.
Parents may reinforce what we learned by
reviewing the site with their child and have
them explain why different things are included:
For example: times, child care, maps, address,
phone numbers, organizations, etc. Providing
information to prospective members, was
a key point.
The above pictures loaded slowly because entire 640
X 480 pictures have been downloaded. If you

it.
