2019 All-Church Retreat
“Take an omer of manna and keep it for the generations to come, so they can see the bread I gave you to eat in the wilderness when I brought you out of Egypt.” Exodus 16:32
Enjoy a weekend of spiritual nourishment at the 2019 All Church Retreat! Together, we will explore meditation and other spiritual practices that we can incorporate into our daily lives.
The retreat will begin Friday evening with dinner, worship, and games. Our middle and high school youth will have the option to participate in a lock-in at Millbrook Baptist Friday evening. On Saturday, we will enjoy interactive group sessions led by our guest speaker, J. Dana Trent, group activities, service project opportunities and more! We will conclude Sunday morning with breakfast, a hymn sing & outdoor worship at Pullen Park, followed by a cookout.
Address for Millbrook Baptist Church: 1519 E Millbrook Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609
Sunday Morning: Worship in the Park
Sunday, September 22 we will finish the All Church Retreat with a worship service in Pullen Park (Picnic Shelter 4). All are invited, even if you have not attended the rest of the retreat! You do not need to register for the retreat or pay anything to attend on Sunday morning. This will be the ONLY worship service for St. Paul's that morning (No service at the church campus).
The Picnic Shelter where we will meet is easily accessible from parking areas on Adaba Drive (off Ashe Ave.). There are picnic tables there, but you're also encouraged to bring a camping chair or folding chair if you have one. We encourage you to arrive before 10 am to get good parking, and/or to carpool from St. Paul's. Meet in the St. Paul's parking lot at 9 am or 10 am to carpool.
