Rev. Diane Faires, Senior Minister

Diane feels thankful to have served at St. Paul’s for ten years, first as Associate Minister, and since July 2017 as Senior Minister. She earned her Masters of Divinity from Vanderbilt University, and a BA in International Studies from Rhodes College. Before feeling a call to ministry, she was the Volunteer Coordinator at Habitat for Humanity in Washington, DC, and a missionary in Sri Lanka through Global Ministries. She is passionate about building multi-cultural and interfaith relationships, and welcoming immigrants and refugees. Diane was born in Texas and raised in Nuremberg, Germany and Clarksville, Tennessee. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, cooking, and volunteering with Habitat. She is excited to be getting married this fall to Michael Beadle, a poet, teacher and artist in residence. In March 2020, a book Diane co-edited will be released by Chalice Press, titled Acting on Faith: Stories of Courage, Activism and Hope Across Religions.
